Just what I needed. A very relaxed day doin' nothing but hangin' out with my best bud. We had lunch at a restaurant that was about as Mexican as you can get without crossing the border. I had a taco fajita and a.. uh.. baracado burrito something or other. Now... I'm always one for new experiences, but I usually like to know what they are before I get myself into them. Graham smiled and informed me after I finished eating that I had just eaten "cow face". Quite literally, it was made from various parts of the head of a cow. As totally and completely unappetizing as that may sound, I hesitantly have to admit that it was quite good. However, if I have any say about it, it ain't ever passing my lips again.

After lunch, we ended up going to see a 5 PM showing of "City Of Angels" at the Highland Pavilion 10. I'm not going to give anything away, but I tremendously enjoyed the movie and recommend it if you haven't seen it. I believe in angels now. I believe! I believe! :-)

Graham's going off to work at seven tomorrow morning, so I'll be here for most of the afternoon. I've got a ton of laundry to do (It got all sweaty in New Orleans), and I'm going to pack/re-pack my car. Oh.. and of course, I'm going to update my daily journal now that I have access to a phone line (but by the time you read this, it'd be old news, so... well... that was completely pointless.)

Graham's getting ready to go to sleep in a few, so I suppose I will too. I've got to familiarize myself with the area so I can go out and do stuff while Graham's working. Sitting here all day, every day, for a week may be nice and relaxing, but it's not why I'm on this trip. I've got to get out there and experience Austin!
