Day 20 - Thu, May 14th, 10:09 PM Austin, Texas Distance Today: 0 miles - Total Distance: 1764 miles Graham and I ended up watching the series finale of Seinfeld in the Clubhouse of his apartment complex. They had one of those big screen TV's, so it was okay. There was a small group of people there our age, drinking beers and eating pizza ... the lifeblood of Generation X. Seinfeld didn't end at all the way I thought it was going to. (I guess that's the whole point.) Here's how I thought it was going to end: Seinfeld's pitch to NBC five years ago for a TV show about nothing, called "Jerry", gets picked up. Then yada yada yada... cut to the last scene. The real Seinfeld show closes with the opening scene of NBC's new show, "Jerry", where the cast members are all the people who our Seinfeld characters were based on. Did that make any sense? Anyhow, tomorrow is Friday. Payday! (Well, for Graham anyway.) I loaned him a few bucks earlier this week. hehe.. so I'm happy about that. Then on Saturday, if the weather is good, we're heading to a place called Enchanted Rock, about an hour and a half west of here. Graham has been "enchanted" with this place for as long as I can remember, so I'm excited about seeing it for myself. Graham's pooped. He had another long day today (he gets up around 6:30 every morning), so I'm going to let him get to bed here. I'm occupying his bedroom, and he's resting on my bed (couch) reading a book, probably falling asleep. That's not such a bad idea. See you on the road...
