Golden Retriever puppies are soooooo cute! All together, there were eight of these little rascals on the farm, two hours west of Austin. Graham has already picked out his pup, a little female he's named Hailey. Each one of the dogs definitely has their own personality traits, and Hailey's is hilarious. She walks up to the water bowl, and as she's drinking, she'll stick one paw in.. then the other paw in.. and BLURP! She practically sticks her whole head underwater. It really was the cutest thing.

We ended up spending five hours or so out there, which is quite a bit longer than I expected, but it was pretty fun nonetheless. There were several older dogs (Babe was my favorite), a half dozen cats, a horse, some geese, an armadillo, and apparently, some rattlesnakes somewhere.

Anyhow.. tomorrow is the big day. I hit the road again. ACK!! It's easily going to be at least a seven hour drive tomorrow. The only real problem is.. I'm not sure where I'm going to end up. I guess I'll just see where the road takes me.

I can't absolutely guarantee that this journal will be updated in the next few days. I will be travelling through New Mexico, and I will be staying in a few hotels/motels.. but that doesn't necessarily mean I'll be able to connect to the internet. So.. keep an eye open.

I'm getting my car and clothes and everything else ready tonight (Oops! Almost forgot about laundry), and then I'll take a quick shower in the morning, get dressed, and head down the road. If I get an early enough start, I'm thinking of taking a detour to Enchanted Rock. I'll be passing it on the way (it'll be maybe.. 20-30 miles out of the way.) As of right now though.. I don't know. We'll see.
