What is Solar pyrography?

Quite simply, Solar Pyrography is the art of burning wood (or a number of other 'canvases') using nothing more than a magnifying glass (different sized lenses = varying levels of detail) and direct sunlight. There is a discussion when the "artform" itself was created, as the idea of directing light into a point using a lens seems to have existed since the days of Galileo.
